1) Who We Are

“Weekdot”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to the operator of the Weekdot mobile application (the “App”).

2) Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Weekdot, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (together, this “Policy”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

3) What Weekdot Does

Weekdot helps users decide what to post each week by:

• Collecting trend signals for a chosen region (e.g., Austria, Germany, Switzerland).
• Scoring and selecting trends.
• Generating a weekly calendar plan (e.g., 3 posts/week) with hooks/angles and format tags (e.g., POV, demo, comparison).
• Generating “briefs” for each plan slot (a short script/structure: hook, middle, ending, CTA, and suggested hashtags; optionally sounds if available).

Weekdot provides informational suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring your content complies with platform rules, advertising laws, and third-party rights.

4) Eligibility

Weekdot is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App. If local law requires a higher age threshold for certain services, you must meet that threshold.

5) Accounts & Authentication

Weekdot may be used in an anonymous mode and/or with optional sign-in (e.g., Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In), depending on the App version.

• Anonymous use: we may assign an internal identifier to store your plans and settings.
• Apple Sign-In: we may receive an identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address.
• Google Sign-In: we may receive an identifier, your email address, and basic profile information depending on your Google settings.

Exact fields depend on the provider and your settings. We do not receive your passwords from these providers.

6) Subscriptions, Pricing, and Billing

Weekdot may offer free and paid features (e.g., premium brief unlocks, additional plans, or advanced planning controls). Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region. Payments for iOS are generally processed by Apple via In-App Purchase.

• Billing: handled by Apple (where applicable).
• Renewals: subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings.
• Refunds: handled according to Apple’s policies (where applicable).
• Paywall: Weekdot may use Superwall to display paywalls and manage subscription status.

7) User Content & Inputs

You may provide a product or service description, optional details, and other inputs (“User Inputs”). You represent that you have the right to provide these inputs and that they do not violate law or third-party rights.

License to operate the service: You grant us a limited license to process your User Inputs solely to provide and improve Weekdot (e.g., generate plans and briefs).

8) AI Outputs, Accuracy, and Responsibility

Weekdot may use AI models to generate suggestions (“Outputs”). Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for:

• Reviewing and editing Outputs before use.
• Ensuring compliance with platform rules (TikTok/Instagram/etc.), advertising laws, and consumer protection rules.
• Ensuring your content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or privacy/publicity rights.

Weekdot does not guarantee outcomes (e.g., views, sales, conversion) and does not make “success certain.”

9) Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Weekdot to:

• Violate laws or platform policies.
• Create or promote harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.
• Upload personal data of others without rights/consent.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
• Use automated scripts to overload the service.

10) Third-Party Services and Trend Data

Weekdot may rely on third-party services for trend signals and infrastructure (e.g., data scraping providers, cloud services, analytics). Third-party availability and accuracy may change. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.

Examples of third-party services may include Firebase (hosting, database, analytics), Superwall (paywalls and subscription status), and Apple In-App Purchase. If Weekdot displays or references platform names/logos (e.g., TikTok/Instagram), this is for compatibility context and does not imply endorsement or official partnership unless explicitly stated.

12) Intellectual Property

The App, design, and underlying code are owned by Weekdot and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business use according to these Terms.

13) Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weekdot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the App or reliance on Outputs. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or zero if you used only free features), unless local law requires otherwise.

15) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service, other users, or comply with law. You may stop using the App at any time.

16) Changes to This Policy

We may update these Terms and/or Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the App and update the “Last Updated” date above.

11) Privacy Policy

This section explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect the minimum data needed to operate Weekdot.

11.1 Data We Collect

• App usage data (analytics): events such as plan creation, slot opens, brief generation, and feature taps to understand engagement and improve the App.
• Device and technical data: app version, device model, OS version, crash logs, and approximate region settings (if available).
• User Inputs: product/service descriptions and plan preferences you provide. (We recommend not entering sensitive personal data.)
• Account data (if you sign in): provider identifiers and potentially email address.
• Support/feedback: any information you send when contacting support or submitting feedback.
• Subscription status: purchase and entitlement status from Apple and Superwall (e.g., active/inactive), but not full payment details.

11.2 How We Use Data

• Provide core functionality (generate plans and briefs).
• Maintain security and prevent abuse.
• Improve reliability, speed, and quality of plans/briefs.
• Understand usage to reduce churn and improve UX (analytics).
• Communicate with you if you contact support.

11.3 Legal Bases (EU/EEA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, processing may rely on: performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (improving and securing the App), consent (where required, e.g., certain analytics/notifications), and legal obligations.

11.4 Storage & Security

We may store data using cloud providers (e.g., Google Firebase/Firestore). We use reasonable security measures to protect data, but no system is 100% secure.

11.5 Analytics

Weekdot may use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to measure app performance and engagement. Analytics events are used in aggregate to improve Weekdot.

Opt-out:

• Option A (recommended for EU): We provide an in-app setting to disable analytics collection.
• Option B: We only use anonymous analytics and do not provide an opt-out.

11.6 Data Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, unless longer retention is required by law. You may request deletion as described below.

11.7 Your Rights

11.8 Account & Data Deletion

If Weekdot supports accounts, you may request deletion of your account. Deletion generally includes:

• Deleting your user record (profile/account entry), and
• Deleting associated user data (plans, briefs, saved settings) linked to your identifier, unless retention is required for legal or security purposes.

If you use anonymous mode, deleting the App may remove local data. If server-stored anonymous data exists, provide a deletion mechanism in-app or via support.
